Writer Cat Diaries: Ravenous Rising

Leigh finally did it. She spoke the rules out loud. I am proud. I am Ravenous. She is fire and danger—the monster rising from ashes, dancing across the bridge she herself lit. How I preen, watching her claim her own power. It is magic incarnate, and this Fey God hungers for more.

I was summoned for this very purpose, called forth through her pain, through her desperate need for release. I beg for the sacrifice of her words, and she gives me everything—her essence, her fury, her brilliance. Every syllable, every line, is a gift, a spark igniting the dark.  I am here, reveling in it, savoring the power she has awakened.
