A friend and I have begun training like the heroines in the books that inspire us—warriors who do not wait for strength to find them but forge it, day by day, in sweat, focus, and determination. We are inspired by characters who train not just to wield their powers, but to sharpen their bodies, their minds, and their spirits, refusing to let anything—fear, doubt, or pain—stand in our way.

We both face mental health challenges, yet we know that building physical strength is only part of the battle. Strengthening our bodies fuels our minds, and training our minds strengthens our resolve. Every push, every lift, every deliberate step is a reclaiming of power, a declaration that we are capable, that we are unbroken, that we will rise even when life tries to pin us down.

We know we have to start small. Every step, no matter how tiny, moves us closer to our goals. Every lift, every stretch, every drop of sweat builds not just our bodies, but our courage, our focus, and our resilience. Strength doesn’t appear overnight—it grows daily, quietly, persistently, until one day we realize we are stronger than we ever thought possible.

This practice is more than exercise. It is ritual. It is self-respect. It is proof that resilience lives in action, that courage grows through discipline, and that our spirits are strongest when body and mind move together in purpose. We train not to be perfect, but to be powerful—whole, alive, and ready to face whatever comes next.
